Halia® Modular Aeration VSA systems comprise high-rate oxygenation and aeration equipment that ensure efficient removal of COD, BOD, ammonia and sludge solids from municipal and industrial wastewater.

Many water treatment plants experience regular peaks in demand as populations vary or production increases. This puts a strain on the people and equipment responsible for delivering clean water.

By generating oxygen on-site the Halia® Modular Aeration VSA process can increase the capacity of a treatment plant. Oxygen is available on demand and is dissolved straight into the wastewater basin, helping improve performance at peak times.

The Halia® Modular Aeration system comprises a vacuum swing adsorption (VSA) oxygen generator integrated with a low energy mixer/oxygenator.

The mixer is mast-mounted allowing easy installation and access. The VSA is based upon robust lobe-type blower technology. Together they form a novel, efficient, yet easily maintained package capable of delivering dissolved oxygen to any wastewater basin or oxidation vessel.
