The Lamella sedimentation settler is designed for all applications where sedimentation is the preferred technology. It offers lower capital costs witha smaller footprint than conventional settlement clarifiers.
The Lamella sedimentation settler has a stainless steel tank that contains plastic plates inclined at an optimum 60º angle. They can be installed with a 50 or 80mm gap between them, depending on the intended application. The plates can be individually removed for cleaning or replacement.
The size of the sludge collection hopper is maximised to allow sludge thickening by compression and reduce the length of the time the sludge discharge pump needs to run.
The Lamella sedimentation settler is available in a choice of 10 sizes for flow capacities from 5-220m3/h. The capacity depends on the settling velocity of the particles to be removed.
An integral flocculation tank and mixer can be supplied if required.
