The Copa COPACURVE™ Crosswave screen is from the family of non-powered or static type CSO screens which have been extensively installed in many CSO and stormwater retention basins and tanks. (Other types of screens are commonly referred to as powered and non-powered self cleaning screens).

The Copa® COPACURVE™ Crosswave screen can be installed within any combined sewer overflow (CSO) location, whether into an existing below ground storm overflow chamber or at the overflow from a storm storage tank or pumping station wet well.

COPACURVE™ technology provides screening to 6mm in two dimensions. Its wave design increases the overall surface area, and longevity of operation as a static screen.

The COPACURVE™ Crosswave screen can be designed and manufactured to fit almost any CSO chamber or storm tank design. Used in combination with the Copa tipping bucket technology provides a means to backwash and clean the screen and becomes a very simple and cost effective solution to protecting the environment.
