The J+A Crossflow™ Detritor grit trap consists of a rotating grit-collecting mechanism and a reciprocating rake grit-cleaning mechanism.

It is designed to remove 95% of grit at 2.65 specific gravity and produces a substantially grit-free liquid and a cleaned, well-washed, drained grit.
