Bürkerts Type 8075 positive displacement flow transmitter is used for continuous flow measurement and batch control. It is designed for flow measurement or batch control of highly viscous fluids such as glue, honey or oil and is especially suited to switching a valve and to establish a monitoring system or an On/Off control loop.

It must be mounted to an SE30, SE32, or SE35 electronic module with a Hall sensor principle. The units are quickly and easily connected together via Burkets Quarter-Turn design.

The design of the fitting is based upon the oval rotor principle, which has proven to be a reliable and accurate volumetric method of measuring flow. Extremely high repeatability and high accuracy over a wide range of viscosities and flow rates are features of the design. The low pressure drop and high pressure rating make it suitable for both gravity and pumped (in-line) applications.
